Amber Hard: Removed from Aquaman 2 in response to Johnny Depp’s petition

No doubt you’ve heard so far, Johnny Depp won his defamation suit against Amber Hard last month.

The trial drew world attention with six weeks of shocking testimony, with both sides ordering numerous heinous accusations against each other.

In the end, Tim Depp is the winner, with a seven-member jury awarding the actor $ 10.35 million in damages.

Hard filed a counter-claim and was paid $ 2 million in damages, but apparently, it still owed a huge debt to Depp.

Of course, in this war there was always more risk than just money.

Both Depp and Hard were fighting for their careers with the knowledge that the lost person could never work in Hollywood again.

Going to trial, Depp claimed that he had not been offered a role in a large studio production in almost five years.

In 2020, Depp was asked to step down from his role in the Fantastic Beasts franchise after he lost his defamation suit against UK tabloid The Sun.

With the start of Depp’s second suite, Hard was in a better place in terms of career, having recently stopped production of Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom.

Now, however, his future in the franchise could be called into question by the actions of diehard Depp supporters.

As we first reported in April, a petition to remove Hard Aquaman 2 Gained a lot of traction online.

At the time, the petition had received an astonishing 2 million signatures on Change.org.

In the wake of last month’s ruling, the number has exploded to more than 4.5 million signatures, with organizers setting a new target of gaining the support of 6 million people who believe Hard should be removed from the film on moral grounds.

Amber has already finished her work on the movie and paid for it, but applicants clearly want her to be digitally removed from the finished product.

Insiders have hinted that Warner Bros. is considering every option regarding the film, which is set for release in March 2023.

During the trial, Depp’s witnesses testified that he helped her play Mera in the Aquaman franchise, and that the studio wanted to move after the first film because of the alleged “lack of chemistry” with star Jason Momoa.

Her silence was broken by the hearing this morning, when the Today show

“Even someone who is convinced that I deserve all this hatred and vitriol, even if you think I’m lying, you still can’t look me in the eye that you think has been a fair representation on social media,” she told Savannah Guthrie.

“You can’t tell me you think it’s fair.”

Hard said he believes the jury was deceived by Depp, but he says he doesn’t blame them for being the victims of his attraction.

“I will put it this way, how can they give a verdict, how can they not come to that conclusion [that I couldn’t be believed]? “He said.

“They sat in those seats and for three weeks listened to the relentless testimony of uninterrupted, salaried employees, and towards the end of the trial, Randos, as I said.

“I don’t blame them, I don’t blame them, I actually understand, he’s a favorite character and people think they know him. He’s a great actor.”

Over the weekend, rumors spread on social media that Hard had signed a lucrative book deal.

Hard has not yet responded to those reports, but it is clear he has not finished telling his story.
