Instead, he suggested that for every cup of water you use to make your morning brew, you should mix half a teaspoon of ground coffee with two teaspoons of ground coffee.

“Salt not only reduces the bitterness, it also smoothes the ‘stale’ taste of the water stored in the tank. … And, however, research has shown that salt is actually better at neutralizing bitterness than sugar, ”Brown wrote.
